How a call works
One fictional example from start to finish: Maria calls a family law firm at 7:40 PM on a Tuesday.

1. It answers on the first ring

No phone menu and no hold music. The first thing the caller hears is that they're talking to an AI and that the call is recorded.
Example greeting: AI disclosure and recording consent
"Thank you for calling Smith Family Law. I'm the firm's AI assistant, not a person. This call is recorded so the firm can follow up with you. Is that OK?"
If the caller says no, the AI follows the option you chose at setup, such as taking a short message or sending them to your office line.
2. It asks your screening questions

One question at a time, in plain words: current client or new matter, what happened, when, which state and county, whether another attorney is already involved, and the best phone and email. You choose the questions.
3. Callers you don't serve are handled kindly

If the caller needs a type of case you don't take, it says so politely and can share a referral number you give us. Your phone doesn't ring. The call still shows in your summary, marked "Not a fit."
4. During office hours, good callers go to you live

You get a text first: "New caller: Maria L., divorce, Harris County, 2 kids. Connecting now." Then your cell or desk phone rings. If you don't answer by the third ring, it goes back to Maria and books a time instead, and you get a "missed transfer" text.
5. After hours, it books the consult

It checks your Google or Outlook calendar and offers two open times. It puts the meeting on your calendar with Maria's name, phone, and notes. Maria gets a text and email confirming the time, a reminder the day before, and a link to reschedule.
6. You get a summary in about a minute

A short text with name, phone, need, and outcome. An email with every answer, the recording, and the transcript. Everything is also saved in your online dashboard.
7. Urgent calls are flagged right away

You decide what counts as urgent, such as an arrest or a court date tomorrow. Those calls get an "URGENT" text and email, and it can ring your cell.
8. Hang-ups get a text back

If someone hangs up early, they get a text within about a minute: "Sorry we missed you. Reply here or book a time." We only text people who called your firm.
What it never does
- Give legal advice or predict a result
- Decide conflicts or promise that your firm will take the case
- Quote your fees, unless you approve the exact wording
- Pretend to be a person
- Ask for Social Security numbers, card numbers, or passwords
Setup, start to finish

Book a demo. Sign up and fill in a short online form with your hours, screening questions, and who takes transfers. We hold a 30-minute kickoff call, build it, and make test calls with you before launch. Then you turn on call forwarding with your phone company. You keep your number.
